My daighter received an IPOD Touch for Christmas. I purchased an I tunes gift card for her to download songs. When she trys to download from the IPOD itself it ask for the gift card #, it is entered, then it ask for your account name and password. I have gone to itunes several times to try and register in order to create this info. SEVERAL times I get the same message immediatley:
I TUNES COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE ITUNES STORE. THE NETWORK CONNECTION TIMED OUT. MAKE SURE YOUR NETWORK SETINGS ARE CORRECT ANBD YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION IS ACTIVE.
I have read up on some suggestions such as time zone setting and clearing cache, of which i have done both and neither has corrected my problem. Please help! As of now it is December 31st and my daughter is heart broken that all she asked for for Christmas has been such a PAIN!!!

I have just downloaded iTunes, and just moved songs from my computer into the iTunes library.

The songs on my computer have been named by me. When they are moved into itunes, they revert back to Track 1, Track 2 etc and not to the name I have renamed the songs to....

I think this hs somethign to do with iTunes looking at the data tag as opposed to the filename.

How do I copy over my songs from my computer into itunes, and keep them as the name I have called them....

hey can sum1please heplp me out.
a few months ago i bought sum tv programmes from itunes and downloaded them, but then i had to wipe my computer. it says that i am allowed to download them again on a different computer.
does anyone know how to do this because it just says 'do i want to buy it again'.
they are in the purchase history in the account so i no i bought them

I just downloaded the new v.8 and I am getting a dialog alert "I am not authorized to play ____ blank song". After finding the online support page directing me to iTunes>Go To Folder>input SC>...........iTunes tells me I do not have that folder! Any knowledge hear to help me?

My Itunes wont open any more, i think it might have something to do with quicktime because when i loaded the new itunes it failed to install, i've tried to uninstall quicktime but that fails too..... does this mean i need a new computer or is there something i'm forgetting plz help with any advise

I have Vista now. I was able to download and purchase music, but it would not download to ipod. I did not save my old songs before the computer crashed. Do iI need to re-install ipod on new computer?. If so, will I lose all of the music, or is there a way to save the music I already have.

Need help, when loading video music plays to a green screen. Controls are visible at bottom but don't open any video.

MY PET PEAVE IS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED OVER 2000 SONGS OVER THE YEARS FROM THE I-TUNES STORE AND NOW THAT I HAVE EXCEEDED MY 5 ALLOWABLE COMPUTERS THAT CAN LEGALLY OPEN THE TAGS, I AM UNABLE TO GIVE THESE SONGS TO ANYONE ELSE.
I COULD BURN THEM ONTO CD BUT THIS IS QUITE TIME CONSUMING.
AN ARTICLE FROM DIGITAL MEDIA ADVISES ONE TO DOWNLOAD AN EARLIER VERSION THAN I-TUNES 7.0.2 AND QTFAIRUSE6 VER2.5 BUT THIS HAS PROVED TO BE A WASTE OF TIME.
HELP!!!!! ANY OTHER WAYS?????

I downloaded the recent ITUNES update and now Front Row does not pull anything from the library. It keeps telling me to go to itunes to download music/video/podacasts etc. How do I reconnect them?
